The Indian Army has launched "Vidyut Rakshak," and it is also called "Mothers of generators" an Internet of Things-enabled system developed by the Army Design Bureau (ADB) to monitor, protect, and control generators. The system was officially unveiled today by Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, Vice Chief of the Army Staff (VCOAS), highlighting the Army's commitment to integrating cutting-edge technologies for enhanced operational capabilities.

 And remotely switched on generators located in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar and viewed the parameters of the generators remotely

What are the key techniques features of Vidyut Rakshak:-

1)Key features include continuous real-time monitoring of generator parameters, predictive maintenance capabilities, automated control operations, and compatibility with all types of army generators, regardless of make, model, or age.

2)The system provides continuous real-time monitoring of generator parameters for immediate detection and analysis.

3)Vidyut Rakshak improves efficiency and backs up predictive maintenance strategies, extending the life and reliability of essential equipment
